At 50, Marie-Sophie Lacarrau is a very busy and equally organized journalist. For several years, the 50-year-old journalist has had the same morning routine. And there is no question of her deviating from it!

It’s almost five years since Marie-Sophie Lacarrau took charge of TF1’s 1 p.m. news, a position that requires a lot of rigor from her. Questioned by our colleagues from 7 Days TV Recently, the television news presenter revealed her morning routine.

Marie-Sophie Lacarrau, her morning ritual: “At 5:56 a.m. precisely…”

And his first gesture in the morning hasn’t changed in years. “My first instinct is to put my phone headset on and tune in to the first news flashes on the radio”she said first. And for her to specify: “I set my alarm precisely for 5:56 a.m., so as not to miss the 6 a.m. flash. Then, I prepare my breakfast”.

An extremely precise and timed routine, which she always follows with breakfast “very classic”. “I have coffee, toast, butter, honey, jam… My dad’s if possible”then clarified the mother of Malo and Tim, two children she had with her husband Pierre Bascoul.

Marie-Sophie Lacarrau, ready to stop the 1 p.m. “Afterwards will be great!”

As a good hard worker, Marie-Sophie Lacarrau consults the news dispatches once she arrives at the office “between 7:20 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.”. “At home, it’s the radio and the written press, which I ‘flip through’. When I discover a piece of news, I ask myself: am I going to deal with it? How? To say what? From what angle? What testimony am I going to look for? I write down as I go, what interests me on a little piece of paper, which I take with me to TF1, and which I throw away after presenting the newspaper”she detailed.

The one who is about to be operated on due to amoebic keratin, an infection of the cornea caused by wearing contact lenses, concluded: “I’m very ‘paper and pencil’. I only lose this reflex when I’m on vacation”. Questioned immediately about her desires after the 1 p.m. news, Marie-Sophie Lacarrau assured that “afterwards will be great”. “The day I stop the 1 p.m., I will go back to the field, because that’s where I started. With my JRI by my side, to run in the countryside, if possible near Toulouse…”she concluded.
