The nursery, dedicated to the children of people working at Enel’s Roman offices, has obtained authorization from the Municipality of Rome and it can accommodate 42 children aged between 3 months and 3 yearswith a monthly fee paid at 50% by the company. The new structure is part of a highly innovative educational project that aims to support the autonomous and creative development of children, integrating daily English language learning activities with music, psychomotor skills, art, cognitive development, symbolic play and introduction to reading lessons. The nursery also offers an internal kitchen service with varied and seasonal menus.
This initiative constitutes a further welfare measure that adds to the Group’s already substantial package of actions to support parenthood throughout Italy, including: the temporal extension of paternity leave and advantageous pay for parental leave; adhering to the “Self-discipline Code of Responsible Companies in favor of maternity”, promoted by the Ministry for the Family; flexibility with the possibility of working smart and part-time and the provision of financial contributions for nurseries, schools, summer centers and study trips abroad.
