The Sand Sea opens the public on April 9, 2022. Visitors will be able to find the Silver Mountain, a family family mountain, which will plunge them into the world of Far West. It will also be an opportunity to discover the new show of the park: love at first sight and powder.

At the gates of Île-de-France, in the forest of Ermenonville, The Sand Sea has become an essential amusement park for toddlers (80% of attractions are accessible from around 3 years old). Composed of many attractions, the park is divided into three universes, Mexico, jungle and far-West. Three equestrian shows will also dazzle young and old. This is enough to delight the whole family! In 2022, the season will start on April 9, the first day of the Easter vacation.

What sensations in the sea of sand! From a visit to the jungle to a large splash and its 20 meters of fall, there is adventure for all ages, all sizes and all the courage.
The Russian mountain Silver Mountain
The attraction opened in 2021 is celebrating its first birthday! It makes it possible to prolong the immersion in the universe of the conquest of the West, the abandoned mine of the Silver Mountain has 15 meters of elevation and you must have a well hung heart to browse, on board the wagons, the 350 meters of routes of this Russian family mountain. The Silver Mountain takes on the adventurers to a hellish train! The youngest must however measure at least 1 meter to participate in this accompanied attraction, or more than 1.20 m if they wish to live the experience alone.
The youngest will also be able to take themselves for rally pilots in the desert raid, navigate on the Beaver River, make a “Safarigolo“Discovering wild animals, pedaling and flying aboard the cyclo wind, piloting an airplane … The older ones will try to resist the turmoil of a raging river, and will descend the slope of Tiger Express in trolleys launched at full speed. The Bandidos attractionlocated in the Western universe entails young and old on an express trip at the time of the pioneers. El Condor The little adventurers will travel by making them flutter on flying chairs, above an ancient Aztec city. Direction Mexico, where children can then turn on sombrero nacelles in the new attraction “Tornado“. In total, 30 attractions and activities await young and old.
The shows of the Sand Sea: a new show in 2022
For the 2022 season, the sea of sand inaugurates a new show: love at first sight and powder. We discover a burlesque comedy against a background of love story and fights. The opportunity to admire the talent of stuntmen and the incredible special effects put in place. This year, visitors find a new “final”, an end -of -day parade. Called La Grand Marche de l’Ouest, it offers visitors to come and parade with Indians, Cowboys and Mexicans throughout the park.
On the side of other shows, Indians, Cowboys and Mexicans oppose the 3 nations tournamentthe last show of the park. Between acrobatics, dressage, and equestrian aerobatics, this show presented Place du Corral will dazzle you. The show so much appreciated by families “Train attack“has been brought up to date, with new spectacular effects.
Jungle, Far-West … What are the worlds of the Sand Sea?
The Sand Sea propels you into a world, or rather into several adventure universes! Indeed, the amusement park is shared in three different districts. The first will take you to The jungle. You can then try The adventure of the great American Westat the time of the famous cowboys. But maybe you will prefer the universe of the desert? In any case, here is a real anthology of very fun atmospheres to discover, and where the different attractions are distributed. The restaurants, too, take you to different destinations and full of flavors. A saloon, the atmosphere of a Tuareg tent … What decor will seduce you the most for a moment of break between two adventures?
Sea of sand: the opinion of the editorial staff
The editorial staff of the Journal des Femmes had the pleasure of discovering the park and its really exotic universes. From the entrance to the park, the children are immersed in a Far-West atmosphere, can be made up and admire the costumes of cowboys and Indians that they meet in the aisles. Most? Little waiting for the little ones who benefit from many rides throughout the day, attractions perfectly suited to the youngest (3-6 years) and accessible according to their size. The shows, sometimes a little too theatrical for the youngest, are still very popular, especially when horses appear or stuntmen jump from a roof! The sea of sand is obviously filled with sand: therefore provide suitable shoes (especially if time is rainy). Another piece of advice: if possible provide one accompanying person in a child so that you can take advantage of all the attractions.

The Sand Sea opens to the public on April 9, 2022. The park will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. from April 9 to July 6 and then from September 3 to November 6. Opening from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. from July 8 to August 8.
