As summer approaches, anti-cellulite promises are making a comeback on social media. Between quick recipes, miracle devices and express challenges, a video published by Coach Victor on Instagram stands out with a super easy routine, to do at home.
Cellulite affects a large majority of women, with multiple causes: skin structure, blood circulation, water retention, hormones, sedentary lifestyle or even genetics. It is precisely on these levers that online well-being content thrives. By promising smoother and more toned skin before the holidays, they meet a very concrete expectation. But specialists point out that no method lastingly transforms the skin in a few days. On the other hand, certain habits can improve the skin’s appearance: move more, strengthen the muscles, limit long periods of sitting and stimulate venous return. It is in this area that Coach Victor, creator of fitness content who says he supports “women over 40 to lose weight, fat and cellulite”.
The message of this slimming coach is based on a simple logic: activate the often numb areas of the lower body, and create a routine short enough to be repeated without stopping after three days. The method he shares is organized around four exercises to be done every day until summer arrives.
The first consists of standing on your tiptoes as high as possible in order to engage the front of the legs. The second takes the opposite movement: pushing hard on the toes to lift off the heels and work the calves, a key area of circulatory return. The third exercise offers lateral leg raises to wake up the glutes and engage the hips. Finally, the fourth combines a tight squat, a leg opening to the side, then a wider squat before returning to center.
On paper, the sequence makes sense: the calves act like a muscle pump, the squats mobilize large muscle groups and the lateral movements use areas sometimes forgotten in traditional sessions. Expected result: a feeling of lighter legs, more visible tone and an improvement in the orange peel appearance thanks to better circulation and the reduction of swelling linked to stagnant water.
However, we must keep a cool head in the face of rapid promises. Cellulite does not “disappear” in a few days, what counts is regularity. So by practicing this circuit assiduously until your first swim in the sea this summer, you will have every chance of presenting a slimmer, smoother and more toned silhouette.
