What does Asi mean?
ASI is the acronym for additional invalidity allocation. This social minimum is paid every month by social security or MSA to disabled people with low incomes. It thus guarantees them a minimum of resources. Its amount varies according to the family situation of the beneficiary.

What are the conditions to be fulfilled to benefit from the ASI?
The payment of the additional invalidity allowance is subject to conditions of disability, residence and resources.
Condition linked to the payment of the solidarity allowance to the elderly (ASPA)
There is no minimum age to perceive the ASI. On the other hand, it is no longer possible to perceive it as soon as the social insured reaches the minimum age required to receive the solidarity allowance for the elderly (ASPA), that is to say 65 years. The beneficiary is informed four months before the end of the payment of the ASI.
Disability condition
ASI granting is also made according to the level of disability of the person. The beneficiary must be reached by general disability reducing his work capacity (or gain) of 2/3.
Residence
The social insured must reside regularly in Francestable or in one of these overseas departments: Guadeloupe, Guyana, Martinique, Réunion, Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin. Income condition
