We love the idea of an “activities calendar”. Time instead of stuff! Nice experiences with the kids, no small toys, no plastic. Over the last few years we have always added an activity to the calendar and the kids love it! Of course you can do something nice 24 times, but we are fans of planning something every few days. The whole thing shouldn’t turn into stress. And on the other days? Then there’s some sweets. Or something else.

You can write your activities on small pieces of paper and store them in a reusable calendar. For example, we really like the models from Ferm Living and Liewood and have been pulling them out of the cellar for years. But you can also use a wake-up jar and rolls of paper, make small envelopes on a string or one of the creative ideas from WLKMNDYS. Depending on what you like best and what your capacity allows.
And what activities and experiences could you offer?
