New album, concerts and even TV series… Amir was everywhere in 2025. However, he is not his own children’s favorite artist!
This December 31, you will see double on TV… The singer Amir will be on the set of The Great Evening of Paris 31 on France 2 and on M6 celebrates the 31st ! However, not sure that his own clan is glued to the screen to watch him perform. By the singer’s own admission I searchedhis children prefer another singer than him.
“Every time I see him, I have to FaceTime“
It was with NRJ, last October on the sidelines of the 2025 edition of the NRJ Music Awards, that Amir made this amusing confidence. “I have two boys (Mikhael, born in 2019, and Or, born in July 2022 from his marriage to his wife Lital, editor’s note) who adore Pierre Garnier“, he said then.
And the artist, who also became the father of a third boy named Nuri, born in February 2025, added concerning his colleague and winner of the Star Academy : “Every time I see him, I have to FaceTime my kids because they want to talk with Pierre Garnier. They know his songs by heart.“
But no jealousy from Amir, who took part in another TV show in the past, The Voicealso on TF1. “It’s going very well because Pierre Garnier and I are not competitors. We are two artists. I think he makes wonderful songs. He’s a very cool boy.”
Amir worried about his children
The singer, who will give a concert in Los Angeles on January 22, is currently going through a complicated period. Amir has been called for a boycott several times, notably by far-left elected officials, particularly on the LFI side. Despite his multiple messages of love and peace, some still criticize him for his support for Israel in the conflict between the country of which he also has nationality and Palestine after the attack of October 7, 2023.
Amir is therefore now worried about his safety and that of his children. “I start to worry about them, their safety, then mine, when I see the scale it’s taking (…) But I also wondered how, as a father, to filter all this information that floods my life and my phone…“, he confided to Parisian last September.
