The amount of the birth bonus is 1066.31 euros. If you are pregnant with twins, the birth bonus is higher 2132.62 euros since there are as many birth bonuses as there are children to be born. What are the resource ceilings to benefit from the birth bonus in 2025?
THE resource ceilings of the birth bonus allowance increase. For 2025, the categorical net income for the year 2023 must be taken into account. The resource ceilings make it possible to define the amount of the birth bonus and must not exceed a certain amount. When is the Caf birth bonus paid?
The birth bonus is paid during the 7th month of pregnancyin one go, by bank transfer.
To be entitled to the birth bonus, you must be pregnant and undergo the first prenatal medical examination during pregnancy. Future parents benefit if they meet the resource conditions.
How to apply for a birth bonus?
During your prenatal examination which takes place with the doctor or midwife before the end of the third month of pregnancy, the health professional will complete, using your vital card, your online pregnancy declaration. He will then give you your document.First prenatal examination”which will allow you to declare your pregnancy to the Caf (via your “My Account” space) and to the health insurance fund. Please note, these two organizations must be notified before the end of 14 weeks of pregnancy.
