Molded ceilings, a beautiful chevron parquet, a sculpted marble fireplace, and volumes to say the least generous, the cachet of this 112 m² was in doubt. But a modernization of the decor and the plan was essential to respond to today’s lifestyles. The new owners, about to welcome their second child, instinctively turned to Virginie Kuentz and Éloïse Le Gall to reshape the apartment in their image. The creative duo has taken over the project with joy, subtlely modifying the spaces, without ever losing sight of the inheritance of the apartment. The kitchen, which settled in the double stay during the work, has therefore melted perfectly in the Haussmannian decor.
The Haussmann style under Mediterranean influence
Optimizing and modernizing the plan of this apartment in the 9th Parisian arrondissement were not the only challenges raised by the renovation. The co -founders of the Kuentz Le Gall agency also had to find a way to invoke the solar atmosphere of the Mediterranean, dear to the owners, between these Haussmann style walls. They notably worked with natural materials such as wood, rope or travertine to warm the classic atmosphere of good. The royal blue, affixed by touches, has only reinforced the Mediterranean accent of the new decoration.
