Good news: from September 1, 2025, progressive retirement becomes accessible to all assets from 60 years old. Two decrees have just brought the age of entry to this threshold, as was the case before the pension reform of September 2023. Concretely, this system allows you to work part -time, between 40% and 80% of full time, while receiving part of your pensions (basic and additional) to compensate for the drop in income. During this period, you continue to contribute to retirement. To benefit from it, you must be 60 years old from September 1ᵉʳ 2025, having contributed at least 150 quarters (all regimes combined, increases for children included) and obtaining the agreement of your employer to take part -time. This last condition remains the main obstacle of the system, even if the pension reform has strengthened the constraints weighing on employers. The procedures can now be carried out online, facilitating administrative formalities.
