An inventory to remember to eat healthily and slim your figure without spending hours at the supermarket.
When you want to lose weight while keeping your shopping habits simple and practical, the idea of a ready-to-use list can be more than useful. In this context, dietitian-nutritionist Ysaline Benakli, better known under the nickname @latiktokdiet, delivers an ideal version to slip into your basket at Picard.
In one of her TikTok videos, Ysaline first reminds us that frozen products are not the enemy of a balanced diet: “Frozen has the advantage of preserving vitamins and minerals well. These are therefore good alternatives for eating healthily, while having little time on a daily basis. Thus, its approach to losing weight is based on intelligent substitutions, allowing meals to be structured without getting lost in a heavy or coercive diet.
First of all, the nutritionist starts by getting her hands on ready-made vegetables, such as organic ratatouille, but also asparagus and raw green beans, without addition. She continues with a quick protein: curry shrimp, perfect for a quality protein intake, without spending hours in the kitchen. On the starchy side, she mentions vegetable noodles: the idea is to include a side dish that is a source of moderate carbohydrates, which again does not take hours to cook or prepare. In addition, she rarely skips 5% fat hamburger steaks as well as ready-to-eat bagels for breakfast, dinner or as a snack.
She also does not neglect the help of seasoning and cooking with shallots, garlic and onion already cut, all ingredients which avoid the chore of cutting and encourage cooking rather than falling back on a less suitable ready-made meal. Finally, for dessert, go for a little treat with sticky rice with coconut milk and mango.
The logic therefore comes in three stages: simple frozen vegetables, quick proteins and moderate starchy foods, then a thoughtful dessert. This allows you to avoid the classic traps — ending up at fast food due to lack of time, consuming ultra-processed dishes because you have “no choice”, or even depriving yourself excessively and then giving in.
Please note, however, that it is always preferable to consult the composition of the products, in particular to avoid preparations loaded with salt or hidden fats.
