Here comes the recipe for a casserole dish:
You need…
for the sprinkles:
150g butter
150g raw cane sugar
100g hazelnuts, ground
120g spelled flour type 630
for the apple filling:
5 large apples
100g marzipan
Juice 1/2 lemon
Juice and zest 1 orange
1 tsp cinnamon
50g raisins
50g almond sticks
And, very important: two cups of whipped cream
This is how it works:
To make the crumble mixture, melt the butter and sugar in a saucepan, remove from the heat and stir in the hazelnuts and flour. Allow to cool slightly.
Preheat the oven to 180° fan oven.
For the filling, peel the apples and remove the core.
Then quarter the apples, cut them into slices and put them in a baking dish. Squeeze the lemon and add it to the apples.
Also grate the peel of an orange and add it with the orange juice. Grate the marzipan and add it to the mold along with the raisins, almond sticks and cinnamon. Mix everything well.
Spread the crumble mixture over the apples with your fingers and bake the crumble in the oven for about 30-45 minutes until the apples are soft.
Whip the cream and serve with the still lukewarm baked apple crumble.
Merry Christmas!
