What is the birth bonus?

Amount for the birth of a child
Since April 1, 2025, the birth premium granted for a new child is up to 1,084.43 euros.
Amount for the birth of twins or triplets
Good news, this aid is proportional to the number of children you expect. The premium will be doubled for the arrival of twins and tripled if three babies are expected. Thus, if you wait for twins in 2025, the premium will amount to 2,168.88 euros. The amount will climb to 3,253.32 euros for triplets.
Amount for an adoption

Date of payment of the PAJE premium
Since April 1, 2021, the bonus at birth has been paid on the last day of the civil month following the 6ᵉ months of pregnancy. It was previously paid at the latest before the end of the last day of the 2ᵉ months of the baby’s arrival.
