What better place than the Sanremo Festival to officially present a new Italian Caritas project to give even the most deprived families the opportunity to participate in musical and cultural events? Rainbow – A dream to colorthe solidarity project of the Coloriamo i Sogni Association which, together with Italian Caritas and Givova, donates tickets to concerts and musical events to people and families in difficulty. A concrete gesture that ttransforms music into inclusion, participation and hope. We met Don Marco Pagniello, Director of Caritas Italiana, on the sea-view terrace of a hotel in the Ligurian town during the week of the Italian Song Festival: «We are here to bring the voice of the poor, who are not only migrants and the homeless», he explains, «but are also those who are unable to carry on their life projects or valorise their talents because the right opportunities are lacking, so that the gap of inequality is actually widening. Instead social justice is possible if there are the right alliances.” Which in this case are the association Coloriamo i dream and the sporting goods brand Ginova, which has received the support of two great protagonists of live music: Ferdinando Salzano for Friends & Partners and Clemente Zard for Vivo Concerti.
How does the project work? «Caritas identifies families among those it follows in each city and provides them with free tickets for the whole family made available by the concert organizers.

These special guests will not stand out from all the other participants, but the event will be characterized by the Arcobalì mascot, to indicate its solidarity dimension” Arcobalì is a colorful unicorn, a puppet worn by a volunteer, or rather by a small army of volunteers.
«We’ll start with the pop music concerts», announces Don Marco Pagniello, «but our intent is broaden the offer to all artistic languages such as theatrical performances and exhibitions. Caritas has launched some similar initiatives at a local level, but this will be the first project on a national scale. As we are already doing with the solidarity emporiums, we are convinced that offering the opportunity to participate in a concert means restoring normality, belonging and dignity.”
THEThe President of Givova, Giovanni Acanfora, adds: «Support Rainbow – A dream to colour it means transforming an idea full of love into a concrete commitment. With a special limited edition of GIvova t-shirts dedicated to the project, we want to celebrate an initiative that combines music, creativity and solidarity. We believe that sports, music and events are extraordinary tools for creating authentic connections and leaving a positive mark on the community.”
