During the funeral of Isabelle Mergault, host Laurent Ruquier had the greatest difficulty in recollecting himself because of Christine Bravo! The two friends gave their version of the facts in “Les Grosses Têtes”, on RTL.
The death of Isabelle Mergault, died of cancer that she had kept secret until the end, moved the French and the gang of Big Heads. The residents of the cult RTL show all gathered at his funeral on March 30 at Père Lachaise. Laurent Ruquier annoyed by Christine Bravo: “She wants me“
During the funeral of the actress, a detail annoyed the host of the Big Heads : the incessant hubbub of her friend Christine Bravo. She’s mad at me because… We’re going to tell you all the details butShe’s mad at me because during Isabelle’s funeral, I told her to shut up at one point!”he said on RTL. And Laurent Ruquier recounts: “Because I’m sitting next to Christine Bravo. It’s a moment when you want to think about something else, to collect yourself. And she: ‘bla bla bla’… At one point I said to her, in fact, ‘shut up.’ I couldn’t take it anymore!”
A version somewhat denied by Christine Bravo, who had traveled from Corsica, where she lives. “But that’s not true (…) You said to me: ‘I need silence.’ He chatted with Isabelle Alonso, he chatted with any chicken that sat nearby and I said to him, ‘Are you okay?'” Neither one, nor two, Arielle Dombasle ended up reacting in turn: “The little hen next door was me!”
Laurent Ruquier denounces “media hypocrisy” at the funeral of Isabelle Mergault
Furthermore, in his show At Ruquier on T18, the host also returned to the funeral of Isabelle Mergault – who leaves two daughters behind – mentioning in passing those of Loana. “Jean-Edouard du Loft, I found him, I must say, impeccable in the way he explained why he did not go to Loana’s funeral (…) I say hats off to Jean-Edouard. It feels good, from time to time, someone who kicks the media hypocrisy that we often witness in these cases”, he said, with the approval of Chantal Ladesou, present on set.
“We had the misfortune of being together at the funeral of Isabelle Mergault (…) and we also actually experienced this terrible moment where we see hypocrisy happening at a time when we don’t necessarily expect it”added Laurent Ruquier, without giving any names.
