Christmas time with small children is magical, beautiful – and jam-packed. If you’re not careful, it can be tiring as hell. Especially since in recent years, in addition to the usual obligations (calendar, Christmas market, Santa Claus, baking, daycare and school events, dance performances…), various other obligations have been added (keyword: elves and elves).
With older children it becomes more relaxed. There is no longer as much pressure on Christmas, which makes it easier for everyone. But this process is of course also associated with sadness. At Isabel’s, the children have known for several years that magic is the work of their parents. And the older son is now at the age where Christmas hardly plays a role anymore; friends are more important.
