At 45, Clara Morgane is a fulfilled woman. A true business woman, she brilliantly juggles between her career and her personal life. A balance that she found by deciding to share her life between France and abroad!
It’s a real balancing act that Clara Morgane engages in. For some time now, she has been sharing her life between two countries: France, her native country, and Thailand, for which she had a real crush.
Clara Morgane took her daughter out of school: “It didn’t work for me or my husband”
Passing through France, the 45-year-old Marseillaise spoke in the podcast Powerful Brain by Claire Lesne. She notably returned to her new activities, notably the spiritual retreats to reconnect with the body that she had set up. A brand new business which is part of a way of life that Clara Morgane has perfectly embraced… And which has very little place in France. Result: the businesswoman at the head of a veritable empire decided to “unschool” his daughter and register her “at an international school in Koh Phangan, Thailand” where she lives six months of the year with her family.
“I decided to remove my daughter from this system because it didn’t work for me or my husband”confided the one who married the music producer Jérémy Olivier in 2012. She preferred to send her daughter to school in “a play place where there are hoops, trampolines and color”. “I left that school crying, promising to come back with my daughter, because I was there crying. And that repositioned everything”she added.
Clara Morgane based in Asia: “I found the balance in my family by alternating things”
Clara Morgane also strongly criticizes the French education system which, according to her, does not teach children to position themselves in real life. “No one teaches us anything (…) We teach you things that are really not interesting. I don’t think anything makes sense in education”she castigated.
“We lock people up in France, we make them believe that they are obliged to be there, obliged to send their children to school in systems which are not necessarily suitable for everyone. We explain to you that it will be very difficult to leave France when it is not difficult. It takes a little courage“, she said afterwards.
Before admitting: “I love France, deeply, I am there six months of the year, but if I was there for a year all the time, I think I would go crazy. And in any case, the balance of my family, I found it by alternating things. And you are made to believe that it is impossible to have a child who is educated half here, half abroad. And I come to testify that it is entirely possible and even quite easy”.
