The Ministry of Culture takes the field with a concrete initiative to honor the memory of the six boys who were victims of the Crans-Montana tragedy. This was announced by the Undersecretary for Culture, Lucia Borgonzoniunderlining the desire to transform the memory of Achille, Chiara, Emanuele, Giovanni, Riccardo and Sofia in a future opportunity for other young talents.
The initiative involves the establishment of six scholarships dedicated to the arts and entertainment, created in collaboration with the main cultural institutions of the country.
«As a Ministry we are working with the involvement of the largest Italian cultural institutions to name six scholarships for young arts and entertainment enthusiasts in memory of Achille, Chiara, Emanuele, Giovanni, Riccardo and Sofia», declared the Undersecretary.

The objective of the intervention is not only commemorative, but aims to keep the debate on safety and the value of life alive, while offering real support to the new generations.
«A concrete way to honor the extraordinary desire to live of these kids – taken away from life and their loved ones too soon – and keep the attention – especially of adults – high on what happened in Crans-Montana on New Year’s Eve. An initiative which at the same time aims to represent a sign of hope: the objective is in fact to ensure that, in memory of the victims, other young people can realize their dreams”.
