Bewitching and mysterious color, blue inspired the house of Cymbeline wedding dresses for its 2020 collection. Zoom on models with vintage and elegant lines.
Cymbelinefamous house of French wedding dresses, has just revealed its 2020 collection to the Barcelona Bridal Week. During the international salons of Paris, Milan, Düsseldorf and Barcelona, which took place in April 2019, we were able to discover sumptuous models with poetic charm. For this new collection, the brand has chosen to decline the silk thread, lace threads, as well as embroidery with unique know-how.
The blue color is the common thread of this new 2020 collection. The patterns of these models, evoking tables made in watercolor, are found flat or relieved on bulky skirts and tight. These patterns, affixed by elegant touches, contrast with the immaculate white of mikados, bristles and lace. Blue – sometimes night, sometimes gray – reinforces the purity of the lines and underline the grace of the silhouettes. Like an ode to painting, the dreamlike of the painter Miro inspires the mind of the designer. Sequins, pearls and sons of light give subtle relief to organzas, lace and taffeta.
For this 2020 collection, Olivier Portais and Anne de Lafforest represent real poets of forms and give life to female and elegant silhouettes. Strengthened by their experience in Parisian haute couture and relaxing incredible ancestral know-how, these two creators pay tribute to tradition, but reinvent it in their own way. They drawn and imagined the models of the 2020 collection and came to complete their respective talents of woven and tamed threads in the secret of the Fontainebleau workshops. Without further ado, fall for models from the 2020 Cymbeline collection.
