This is the first step before embarking on the search for a caterer. Establishing the list of your guests will allow you to determine the type of dinner you can consider. This information, moreover, will be essential to the professional in charge of your wedding meal: he will thus be able to provide you with an estimate, as accurately, of his prices and his services. Remember to make two lists: that of guests with the only wine of honor and that of dinner guests.

Choose your caterer

Let it be said: the dinner of your wedding will be the most important spending post in the wedding, even if you plan to get married in a designer dress. This is therefore the point to which you should pay special attention, to adjust it as quickly as possible. You will feel relieved once the caterer booked. To choose it, no other solution than to test. Start by listing all the caterers in the geographical area of ​​your reception location, then ask about their type of services, and their prices. Depending on your budget and your desires, try to select at least three providers. Ask them to establish quotes, request a meeting and, finally, a tasting, before fixing your final choice. You can also call on a food truck, these nomadic restaurateurs, both practical and economical!

Choose your witnesses! At the town hall, you can be accompanied by one or two maximum witnesses per person. If you want to have more, and you plan a religious ceremony, you can choose up to two other witnesses each, which can set up their total number to 8. It’s up to you to choose people in whom you trust and explain to them what you expect from them in this role (consultation and accompaniment throughout the preparations, conservation of alliances …).
