David Hallyday seems to be doing well. Johnny Hallyday’s son will soon embark on a new phenomenal tour! He lifts the veil on his physical condition.
David Hallyday intends to stay in shape to promote his next album, Requiem for a Madman, released last June. It must be said that he is doing everything he can to stay in the race…
A new album to defend: it includes songs by Johnny Hallyday
With his new album, David Hallyday sings covers of his father, Johnny Hallyday, who died in 2017, as well as some of his own songs. Parisianhe confided in us about his next tour. And, despite his 58 years, the singer plans to embark on a two-year tour… until he is 60! So he is keeping himself in shape: “For many years, I have been paying attention to my lifestyle and my physical condition (…) I run even when I don’t feel like it, and as important deadlines approach, I redouble my efforts and assiduity in training. I work on my cardio with a coach in order to maintain the endurance I will need on stage.”
Maintaining his work tool, Sylvie Vartan’s son works on it every day: “The voice is a fragile organ, sensitive to fatigue, viruses, microbes, and as it is my only instrument as a singer, I must pay attention to it,” says the father of three. We hope his voice holds up during his forty dates of tour!
David Hallyday wants to avoid physical contact
To keep up with this frenetic pace, David Hallyday has several methods: “I change my diet and avoid, for example, coffee which can create acidity and cause gastric reflux, which would damage my vocal cords.“To avoid getting sick and having to cancel dates, he also has a very particular method.”I avoid contact, kisses and the possible viruses that go with them.“.
To relax, the artist does not forget to see his loved ones and “chill out or play a game of paddle tennis with friends“, if “walk with (his) dogs“, but also if”oxygenate or do sport“. David Hallyday also enjoys his grandson, Harrison, born in 2022. “It’s a little weird because I feel like I have a fourth child in a way,” he explains on RTL. “That’s not what I thought of grandparents as a kid.”
