Parc Astérix continues to reinvent itself to the delight of young and old alike! Committed to a vast development plan, the Oise park launches its 2026 season on April 4. If the essentials that make the park so successful are still there, this new year is marked by major transformations, ideal for a family getaway. Here is the program.
The Egypt zone of Parc Astérix is expanding
This is the big news for this 2026 season: the Egypt zone finally completes its transformation after three years of work! For the occasion, several family attractions are getting a makeover to fit perfectly into this pharaonic setting. First, the Descent of the Nile : the former aquatic attraction the Oxygenarium changes its identity. Prepare for a refreshing adventure along the sacred river, with a completely redesigned queue and boarding station. Afterwards, Flight of Ibis : the traditional flying chairs complete their metamorphosis in the middle of new vegetation and a pretty water feature. Finally, the Comptoirs d’Epidemaïs : from June 2026, the Le Cirque restaurant will be transformed to offer a brand new culinary offering inspired by the travels of the famous Phoenician merchant.
What are the main attractions of Parc Astérix?
Since 1989, Parc Astérix has offered attractions and shows that immerse young and old in the world of René Goscinny’s famous comic strip. Over the years, certain attractions have become legendary such as Oziris, Goudurix, the Roman River and its giant buoys, or even more recently the roller coaster ToutatisAnd Pegasus Expressa thrill-ride train ride through the Ancient world. Without forgetting the unmissable attraction Thunder 2 Zeuswith its 90° inclined hump, unique in Europe.
Activities for young children: the Wild Boar d’Or playground, the Viking playground, the Petit Chêne playground or the Panoramix playground, but also the small bumper tanks, La Galère, Les Petits Drakkars, L’Escadrille des As, Les Petites Chaises Volantes, Le Mini Carrousel, Lavomatix, Enigmatix, Hydrolix, Etamine, Aérodynamix, le Petit Train, the small tanks stampers…. What shows should you see at Parc Astérix?

The big return of the Parc Astérix night show
Good news for families who like to extend the magic until nightfall! From July 11 to August 30, 2026, the park will close its doors at 10 p.m. and will offer a brand new nighttime spectacle above the lake. For the first time, Parc Astérix will combine drone ballets, fountains, lasers and pyrotechnics to tell a unique story in the world of our favorite Gauls. The famous Banquet Gaulois will also be back this summer for dinner with Asterix and Obelix!
Fear in the park: what’s new at Parc Astérix for the end of the year
For Fear on the park 2026the Halloween event is full of new features following the closure of Rue de Paris (which will make way for the future “Londinium” zone in 2028). On the program: a new big show din the Roman arenasa dance show at Camp des Lames d’Acier, a horrific journey through the forest and a new “scare zone” in Egypt. In December, Gaulish Christmas will bring back the magic with its indoor ice rink, its Christmas market, the famous Obélix Slide and its festive parade.
