Emmanuel Moire was taken by surprise by the remark of a spectator who seemed to have made advances towards him, in the middle of a performance of “The Sun King”. The 47-year-old singer totally came out of character. Video proof.
It has been several months since Emmanuel Moire once again slipped into the shoes of Louis XIV for a new tour of Sun Kingmore than 20 years after the launch of the musical. Every evening, the troupe sells out and the audience sings along to the show’s many hits. But this June 24, while the Sun King was performing at the LDLC Arena, near Lyon, Emmanuel Moire came out of character when a spectator made advances towards him…
Emmanuel Moire, troubled: “Send me a little note on Instagram…”
Towards the end of the show, the interpreter of Louis XIV asked the audience to raise their voices with him. “Do you really want to sing with me?“, he said innocently, while a spectator in the room responded by chanting: “I want lots of things!“. A naughty remark that surprised Emmanuel Moire.
“Uh, young man… I got out of character“, he stammered, a little disturbed, while a member of the troupe joked: “Cut off that one’s head!”
But the 47-year-old singer obviously did not want to let this opportunity pass. “Young man, send me a little note on Instagram“, he said jokingly (or not), to the laughter of the audience. “I’m sorry to the troop“, he then added, before getting back into the skin of his character.
Is Emmanuel Moire in a relationship?
Emmanuel Moire is rather discreet about his private life, but at the end of 2024, he agreed to say a little more about his love life with 7 Days TV : “My private life is not easy, I don’t see my family or friends much, I’m single (…) It’s hard to build a relationship, even if I want to“. The artist, who won the third season of Dancing With The Starshad also confided that he dreamed of becoming a father.
Ten years earlier, he already had desires for fatherhood and romantic stability, as he had confided to Parisian : “I really want to settle down with someone (…) I have impulses of fatherhood, of wanting to build something else, my family life in fact. I think I’m a lot more ready for this than before too“.
