Wednesday, Squid Game, Stranger Things, One Piece… All your favorite Netflix series will soon come to life: the platform is increasingly diversifying by offering truly immersive experiences based on its greatest hits.
Going from viewer to visitor is Netflix’s new promise. An essential stop for movie evenings on the sofa, the American streaming giant now intends to diversify… by going off screen! Yes, compulsive binge-watching is no longer the only way to enjoy the platform’s flagship programs.
Attend the Nevermore Academy festival and solve investigations with The Thing, explore pirate lairs in search of a mysterious Devil Fruit, take part in the famous musical ride and face the Front Man, participate in a rescue mission after a terrible earthquake in Hawkins… True fans will have understood: it is now possible to immerse body and soul in the world of the most famous Netflix series, from Wednesday has One Piecepassing through Squid Game or even Stranger Things. Of course, it is in the United States that the streaming platform is launching this brand new concept: Netflix Houses, unique leisure spaces where immersive experiences, grandiose decors and entertainment on the theme of our favorite films and series combine. Escape game, mini-golf, interactive course, arcade room, virtual reality, restaurant, merchandise store… Everything is designed to fully enjoy the Netflix experience!
It is in Philadelphia, in the state of Pennsylvania, that the very first theme park of the franchise will open on November 12, 2025. This will then be followed by that of Dallas, Texas, on December 11, 2025. Located in huge shopping centers, and extending over more than 9,000 square meters each – these Netflix Houses are accessible free of charge. Besides, you don’t need to be a subscriber to the streaming service to enter! On the other hand, each experience will be paid and will require a ticket with a reserved time slot. Each attraction lasts about an hour, and prices start around $39, with variations depending on the day of the week. Like the content on the platform, the experiences offered in Netflix House will evolve regularly.
Moreover, the American company has already planned to extend the concept: another park of this type, which promises to be even more spectacular, will see the light of day in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2027. As for Europe, no information at the moment on possible projects… but it is a safe bet that if success is achieved across the Atlantic, Netflix will see it as an opportunity for other cities around the world. The United Kingdom and Germany being the two largest pools of subscribers, after the United States of course, it is not impossible that Netflix Houses will set up there in the future.
