Asked by The Women’s Journal as part of its second household linen collection, in collaboration with Tissaia by E.Leclerc, the former Miss France Elodie Gossuin gave us her top 3.

Elodie Gossuin always has the “trifecta” of Miss France

The one who was elected Miss France 2001 has an immutable ritual during the Miss election evening. “Already, look! And to be surrounded.
Whether with friends or always with family. Depending on the age of the children, we make our predictions. But the ritual is that I always have the same friends who, all the time, several days before, say to me: ‘Well, what’s your trifecta?’ Because usually I’m good so they want to know“, she told us.

Elodie Gossuin never misses an election evening and always takes the same pleasure in watching the candidates parade and present themselves to the French with the hope of winning the precious crown synonymous with a year of reign; this year, everyone dreams of succeeding Angélique Angarni-Filopon. “Like everyone else, and it’s the same principle as with Eurovision, it’s to make your prediction, and still criticize a little… as I must have been criticized! But it’s human and it feels good. And yes, I already have my prediction for this year too“, she added.

Inevitably, the new recruit of M6 – in charge of the show – was asked The best vacation destination – which candidates (see slideshow) are most likely to win this year at Miss France. “I must not fool myself. Obviously, I have to put Picardie (Emma Boivin), I was president of the jury! And she is very pretty. We’re going to put Picardy. Tahiti (Hinaupoko Devèze). Provence (Julie Zitouni) and Île-de-France (Mareva Michel). That makes me four. We’ll see…“, she revealed.

And Elodie Gossuin, who also had the luxury of being elected Miss Europe 2001, explained her criteria: “There are some that stand out. In fact, that’s always my criterion. It’s not at all objective criteria like ‘Wow, she’s sublime, body and all.’ For me, really all the time, and even just in photos, it’s about what I feel. I only trust that. Is there something that stands out, is it sunny… Not just because it worked well. For example, Amandine Petit, I know she wasn’t in the favorites. But on stage, she was there, fresh, sunny! So, it will depend on what they are going to give that evening.“
