The album, “G”, coming out on November 7th, almost three years after the last one, represents «the Georgia of today». The singer presented it today in Milan. It won’t be a concept album, but a project whose only common thread is the artist herself, who in this chapter has decided to get back into the game, starting from herself and music. A challenge that led her to interact with very young authors, overcoming what she herself defines as “her main fear”: appearing youthful. «I felt at ease, I boasted to myself a little about the fact that I have always loved this type of sound, electronics».
The new album includes a key track: an unreleased version of “LA CURA PER ME”, featuring Blanco. A song that has already defined Giorgia’s 2025, certified platinum with over 150 million streams. The Roman artist reveals that she slightly modified the original text, which ended with “only you are the cure for me”. “It’s something I felt about being a woman,” she explained. «In my past, I have always tried to trace an idea of female independence. I can’t go to a little girl and tell her that there is someone she can entrust with her happiness.”. For this reason, despite loving the poetry of the original, she felt the need to change the ending to “I will never be alone again”, to “give a little color of independence and not delegate one’s existence to someone else”.
This “renaissance” is supported by impressive numbers. After the summer tour, the singer is preparing to return to the arenas from the end of November. PALASPORT LIVE is already a triumph, with a slew of concerts already sold out: from date zero in Jesolo to Bologna, Florence, Turin, Milan and Rome. The success led to the addition of new dates for March 2026. Yet, Giorgia confesses, with her proverbial irony, that «This sold out thing makes me anxious».
The new project was anticipated by the single COUPan intense pop ballad produced by Dardust, which marked the highest female radio debut of 2025. The cinematic video was directed by partner Emanuel Lo. The tracklist also includes songs like “Corpi Celesti” and “Carillon”which Giorgia describes as «a dialogue with the very young me, who was defined as cold». A success, the current one, which sees the X-Factor presenter as the only female artist present in the top30 of the most listened to Italians in the world in the first half of 2025.
“G” will be released on CD, black LP and in limited signed editions.
