These are the words of the Undersecretary of Culture Lucia Borgonzoni: «A moment of sharing, not a luxury. This is how we want the experience of the use of a big screen film to be perceived. Especially from families, in particular the most numerous, which often, in front of the overall cost at the box office, find themselves forced to choose who, between mom and dad, must accompany their children in the room or, even, to completely give up the unique emotion that only these magical places know how to give. Invert the course you can also from a campaign of reductions in the ticket price. In this way, In addition to giving them concrete support, we will strengthen the link between the public and our cinema, too often penalized with respect to large international productions… the cinema is of all and together we can make it live even more ».
He said Mario Lorini, ANEC president: “The cinemas continue to be at the center of the support policies for the return to the unique and irreplaceable, shared and aggregative experience of the vision of a film on the big screen”.
He said Alessandro Usai, president of Anica: «European and Italian cinema is close to care, and It is essential to create an audience and a habit of vision since childhood. Today the Italian film production aimed at children offers high quality products, but is still not very developed compared to other countries. Initiatives like this are essential because families and, above all, the youngest audience to our cinema and also provide an important stimulus to invest in the market contribute to bringing closer. In fact, children and young people go willingly to the cinema, but almost always to see American products, animation or superheroes. It is therefore crucial to also offer them Italian quality content, capable of speaking their language and telling stories close to their reality ».
