Sylvie Tellier may have left the management of the Miss France competition, and left her place to Cindy Fabre in August 2022, she is not bored. A true businesswoman, she is on all fronts. And last May, the former Miss France, now 46 years old, even published a book, Crown and prejudice. A sort of enlightening clarification in which she dismantles one by one all the fake news about him.

And thanks to which she returns to her life journey without going through any hassle. Asked by Evening Mag last July regarding the release of her very first book, Sylvie Tellier spoke candidly about her adolescence in Sables-d’Olonne (Vendée). Raised by a mother who herself found herself alone at the age of 40 with her three children, the godmother of the Les Bonnes Fées association did not hesitate to take on odd jobs to contribute to the good health of her home.
“For 20 years, I directed the Miss France competition, it was deduced that I had grown up in a privileged family. This is not the case! I come from an extremely modest background. I lucky to have a mother who taught me the art of being elegant with not much”she actually told journalists. And for her to specify: “There was no way I was going to add to his financial worries by asking him anything!”
What odd jobs did Sylvie Tellier do before becoming Miss France?
Result: before becoming the person we know today, Sylvie Tellier often got her hands dirty. “So I was, among other things, a ball boy in a tennis club, a presenter in supermarkets, a dealer in a casino and even Mother Christmas in front of a department store”she confessed in the same interview.
Then, after obtaining her baccalaureate, the mother of Oscar, born from her first union with Camille Le Maux, and of Margaux and Roméo, the children she had with her current husband, Laurent Schenten, made medical studies. Before branching off to the right, first to Nantes, then to Lyon. But, from now on, she runs her business and earns her living as an entrepreneur.
