Entering your student social file is an essential procedure for obtaining a student scholarship, aid for international mobility or social housing. How to make your DSE?

Make the Crous scholarship simulation

First step to start the procedures, perform a scholarship simulation on the CROUS website indicating:

• his family situation,
• The number of brothers and sisters attached to the tax household,
• the distance between the home and the teaching establishment,
• The amount of resources of the previous year (the global gross income appearing in the tax notice established in 2024).

If the simulation is favorable, the student social file can be formed from March 13.

Provide documents and supporting documents

Before the end of June, the Crous studies the file and addresses the student a notification indicating the decision to award or rejection of the stock market and/or housing request.

How do you know if your DSE request has been accepted?

In June, the Crous notifies his decision to award or rejection of the request by email. The file is definitively validated after transmission to the CROUS of the registration certificate within the school chosen by the student.

How to modify your DSE in case of error?

What to do in case of refusal of the CROUS?

If the refusal concerns a housing request, the appeal is made by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt addressed to the Director of CROUS within two months of the notification of the rejection decision. If the refusal concerns the allocation of the scholarship on social criteria, the procedure is identical, but the appeal must be sent to the rector signatory of the decision.
