Even very worn, even holes or torn, our jeans, we love it, we love it! But how can we wash it and maintain it so that it lasts as long as possible?
John can be kept a whole life of course (thank you to the Jean Toueé for having become trendy!), But you should know that the lifespan of jeans, depending on its quality and its thickness of course, is on average one to two years.
In order to keep your jeans as long as possible, it is important not to wash them beyond 30 ° C. Indeed, cotton, raw material of jeans, tends to relax when we wear it. Also, if you wash them at too high temperature, they will deform more.
Finally, and even if you have the impression that your jeans are not dirty, you have to think not to wear it for too long: from 2 to 3 times maximum before putting it in machine.
Once they are frankly too damaged to be worn as is, you can always cut them in shorts for the summer holidays or customize them to give them a second life!
