Do you want to adopt an androgynous look? The tie is the essential accessory for a chic and male silhouette! Here’s how to make a tie knot.
The simple tie knot
The simple tie knot is the most used, because it is carried out without difficulty and agree with the vast majority of shirt passes. The node obtained with this method is conical and elongated: its thickness depends on that of the tie. To make this tie knot, you must first pass the big pan over the small one, before dragging it under the latter. We then wrap the big section on the small, then we pass it towards the upper part of the tie, before introducing it into the loop. It is then enough to tighten the loop, pulling slightly on the large pan and now the small pan. When the knot is finished, the small pan is invisible.
The double tie knot
This is a thicker version of the simple tie knot. This double knot agrees with most shirts, but must be avoided, on the other hand, if the tie is very thick. To make a double tie knot, you have to take the indications given for the simple knot, but make a second rotation of the big pan around the small pan, before passing it up of the tie.
Windsor’s tie knot
The Windsor tie knot is the node reserved for special occasions. Of English origin, this bulky knot is well suited to Italian passes, quite apart. Start by placing the tie on both sides of your neck, leaving the big part much longer than the small pan. Then cross the big section on the small, then make a loop with the large pan around the tie, on the upper part. Then bring it back to the other side of the tie, then make another loop: the little pan is then surrounded by two symmetrical loops. Pass the big section under the small pan, then go up it up of the tie as for a simple knot. Finish by passing the big pan in the loop, then adjust by pulling slightly on the large section.
