If Brigitte Lahaie flourishes today in her role as a radio host – she officiates on the airwaves of Sud Radio where she mainly gives sentimental advice -, she could have completely missed her reconversion.
Brigitte Lahaie sincere: “It’s one of the things I can sometimes regret”
Not easy according to the main person concerned, interviewed by Tele-Leisureto pursue another career when you were an icon of films for adults. At 70 years old, Brigitte Lahaie has fortunately taken up the challenge by doing radio and publishing various works. But she still dreams of pursuing an acting career on the big screen, despite meager appearances in a few films like Calvary Or Happiness.
“It’s true, it’s one of the things that I can sometimes regret, because I’m convinced that I’m quite a good actress. At the same time, you can’t do everything in life, maybe I would have been less free. But I think I’m still ready”, said Brigitte Lahaie. The star, who left Paris to live more peacefully, is well aware that doors always close for her because of her past: “I still remain the scandalous one. There are always places where people don’t really want to receive me.”
Brigitte Lahaie continues on the radio but has other projects: “I would like to move forward with training”
Brigitte Lahaie, now single since her divorce, is therefore continuing her career on the radio while waiting for the big day at the cinema. “At the moment, I’m in a period where I’m having a lot of fun, but two years ago, I almost didn’t want to start again. It’s very curious. I do everything by myself, I choose my guests, I choose the themes.” she confided, ensuring she will be back behind the microphone next season.
At the same time, Brigitte Lahaie is also preparing other projects. “I would like to move forward with training for people who want to train in sexology. So I am looking for a partner who could set this up on the web, because I think it needs to be done digitally”she said. Before concluding: “I am in the process of finishing a Marseille tarot with photos of me from my entire career. These are totally different projects”.
