There are people who exercise more extraordinary trades than others. This is particularly the case with Ella Peters who seems to live a dream life on board the most beautiful yachts in the world. His work? Nanny ! But not just any … aged thirty years, Ella Peters is one of the few nannies to exercise a very special profession: taking care of children of billionaires, while sailing from port to port on luxury yachts. The boats on which she works have spas, helitors, immense aquariums and even real Picasso on the walls. Interviewed by the online site Onboardonline.comthe young woman revealed the secrets of this original work to say the least.
For almost 10 years, the daily life of this Briton has been punctuated by the children of others. Its customers? Richissimes parents who pay it to keep their children and take care of them during the holidays. His office? Voards, motor yachts, rented by rich business men and women, for the modest sum of 460,000 euros per week. But then, what exactly does it do? “The roles of nanny on Superyacht include entertainment and the protection of children on board. Nannies accompany the family during the excursions, entertain children in the water and are responsible for the wardrobe of children, their bedtime ritual and many other tasks” explains Ella Peters.
His daily program? She wakes up at 6 a.m. every morning, takes a little coffee and it left for a day to take care of the toddlers while their parents bask and take advantage of their free time. In general, she spends her morning to make jet ski or wakebord with children, then in the afternoon, she made board games, DIY or cooking. Obviously, here, the 35 hours do not exist, since “The bedtime can be at 7 p.m. as at 11 p.m. … The rules often disappear because everyone is on vacation and just laughs,” she said. On the salary side, the luxury nanny receives between 287 euros and 384 euros around per day, which means that it receives between 2,000 euros and 2,600 euros per week, between 8,000 and 10,400 euros per month.
Besides that, she must think of everything so that the family spends wonderful holidays without having to worry about everyday constraints such as homework, meals … When she does not work as a full -time nanny, Ella Peters coaches other superyachts nannies to succeed in the environment. Indeed, in 2022, she launched her own company called Superyacht Nanny To accompany all those who would be tempted by his career.
