As soon as you wake up, you may not know how to know an error that could speed up your cell aging. So be sure to change this habit to stay young longer!
In the morning, your routine has always been the same for years. Coffee swallowed in a hurry, an eye on your emails, a lukewarm shower and the day can start. You believe you are doing well and yet, you forget an essential element that may ultimately have consequences on your skin, your cells and therefore accelerate the signs of age.
We often talk about UV rays, stress or sugar as enemies of aging, but quite little of this very widespread error. This forgotten gesture was put forward by Mina, of the Tik Tok account @Wellnessmina. In her video, she unveils what is the error you may make every day and that makes you age faster.
“The main error is not to drink enough water after waking up. After 7, 8 hours of fasting, your body is in dehydration. You can be sure that your skin will be drier, less plump. You will also have wrinkles of dehydration and other wrinkles that will settle even more easily”, she explains on her account. While we sleep, our body continues to work: breathing, digestion, regeneration of cells … Now, these processes consume water. Result: upon waking, our body is in a state of light dehydration, even if we are not necessarily thirsty. Chronic dehydration, even slight, is associated with several premature signs of aging: dry skin, lack of energy, concentration disorders, slowed down digestion. In the long term, it also contributes to cell inflammation, a phenomenon directly linked to organic aging.
The solution? Drinking a large glass of water as soon as I get up, ideally between 25 and 30 cl, not only rehydrates the body, but also relaunching metabolism, activating the digestive system and draining the toxins accumulated during the night.
If the secret of eternal youth remains a myth, simple gestures like this can really make the difference. By taking care of your body as soon as you wake up, you don’t just start the day well, you help preserve your youth capital in the long term.
