Aged 68, Inès de la Fressange relies on a simple but extremely effective ritual to maintain her radiance and natural youth.
It is clear that Inès de la Fressange has not changed since its beginnings: always elegant, luminous, with that timeless charm that makes generations dream. But behind this natural glow hides a secret much more accessible than one might imagine. No beauty salon appointments, no expensive creams, and even fewer spectacular cosmetic procedures: just a healthy, simple and sustainable habit, which she generously shares in her book The Parisian published by Éditions Flammarion.
What if the secret to eternal youth was not hidden in expensive treatments? Inès de la Fressange is in any case convinced of this. A fervent defender of natural beauty, she advocates a much simpler and more accessible approach: taking care of your well-being above all else. “Looking naturally pretty is not age-related, it can be learned“, she assures, recalling that true beauty comes from within. Rather than spending hours in beauty salons, the 68-year-old former model prefers to give her mind a few minutes: “I prefer to do 10 minutes of meditation, there is less clutter…“This little ritual allows you to reconnect with yourself and slow down in an often hectic daily life.”We don’t allow ourselves enough time to take time for ourselves. This is what we love most about going to the spa. But if you lie down at home for 30 minutes without doing anything, it’s just as beneficial. You have to know how to slow down in life.” she insists.
For Inès de la Fressange, the best beauty salon is not necessarily the one you think of: “The best aesthetic salon is the dentist. A pretty smile and beautiful teeth make you forget everything else!” she confides in her book. She even avoids skin cleansing in institutes that she judges “too violent“. A lifestyle to copy without moderation!
