This Friday, October 18, Isabelle Huppert received the Lumière prize for her entire career. Her outfit and jewelry, like her reward, lit up the entire room!
The Lyon Lumière festival has transformed into a real fashion parade! All the stars, including Monica Bellucci and Vanessa Paradis, wore their best outfits for the occasion. And this is the case of Isabelle Huppert who, faithful to Balenciaga, took out a dazzling ensemble from her wardrobe.
The French actress, known for her role in Heaven’s Gate (1980), has won numerous film festivals and awards. Before going to Lyon, she was in San Sebastian and New York to promote A Traveler’s Needs (2025), a Korean film by Hong Sangsoo, in which she plays the lead role.
But the Lumière festival in Lyon was undoubtedly the most important for the French star. She won the Lumière prize there for her entire career – almost fifty years rich in films and roles!
For this event, the face of Balenciaga, loyal to the brand, wore a dazzling beige sequin ensemble, consisting of a top for 1,300 euros and a long skirt for 1,900 euros!
She accessorized her outfit with a magnificent white and yellow pear diamond necklace and matching earrings, by Chopard. Isabelle Huppert transformed into a real disco ball and shone brightly!
“The prizes, when you think about it, are a bit to calm turbulent artists, but also to tell the person who receives it that they have not worked for nothing. When receiving the Lumière Prize, I heard: “Isabelle, you did your job well“, she said after receiving her award from director Alfonso Cuarón.
