The one who was Karen Cheryl on stage for a long time, a pseudonym which still sticks to her today, has made shocking revelations about the state of her finances. At 70, the former emblematic voice of Europe 1 – a station in which she worked for 27 years and who slammed the door because they wanted to divide her salary in half – lives “on his little savings”. And she added: “I don’t receive a pension, I didn’t even ask for it. I don’t know where I’m going… But I’ve been fighting all my life, it doesn’t matter, we’ll see.”

The former singing star, who has occupied the top places in the hit parade of the time with titles like The march of the machos Or Oh ! Darling darling… has made a lot of money at this point in his career. But, behind the scenes, Isabelle Morizet was never able to count on her mother to encourage her. And it seems to have hurt him…
“My mom never came to see me sing. Never!” said Isabelle Morizet. And for her to conclude: “My mother, so perfect, just replied: ‘I know I would be nervous to see you on stage for an hour and a half, don’t impose that on me’. It was a bit of an easy excuse, so I didn’t want to force it. But even when I was on TV, she wouldn’t look at me…”
Conversely, her dad was present and, faced with the media madness in which she found herself at the time, he did not hesitate to take her by car to the fields on the outskirts of Paris to make her put on boots and simply admire the sunset, she said.
