Guillaume Labbé, star of the series “Le Diplôme” on TF1, revealed that he had organized a false union in the past for a very specific purpose. And he regrets!
Guillaume Labbé, starring in the new TF1 series The Diploma particularly with Clémentine Célarié, never lacked inventiveness… and that sometimes played tricks on him! One evening when he was a little too drunk, he had an idea that was both risky and crazy: he invented a fake marriage.
Guillaume Labbé organized a fake marriage: “We sent fake bans…“
The actor, now 42 years old, simply wanted to bring his group of friends together for a weekend. With one of his friends, they decided to make them believe in a fake marriage! “As life moves forward, it’s less easy for you to have your group of friends come for a weekend with you. We absolutely wanted to have our friends with us at the Calvi on the Rocks electro festival, and with one of my friends, we said to ourselves: ‘The only way to have them is for you to get married, for us to have a fake stag party (stag party, editor’s note) and for them to come for that’“, he said on the set of Camille Combal’s show on NRJ.
The idea was obviously unconscious, but the actor did not shy away from it at the time. “We said it while drunk and the next day, we remembered it and said to ourselves that our idea was brilliant!“, he added. The joke quickly took on unexpected proportions: “So we planned a fake wedding, we sent fake bans, we had a fake bachelorette party…”
Guillaume Labbé: “We were afraid of getting screwed…“
Guillaume Labbé’s friends all showed up for this weekend which was supposed to be a bachelor party… but they were far from delighted when they discovered the deception! “It caused a monumental failure because you have your friends who come to a fake stag party and say: ‘But our girls will never believe that it wasn’t true’… So we were afraid of being beaten up by our friends and there were some who had a horrible weekend, including one who told me: ‘But my girlfriend bought a dress on purpose for the wedding!‘”, he remembered. And concluded: “It was a very good weekend for me, but it’s not something I would do again“.
Guillaume Labbé remains very discreet about his own private life, but he had already agreed to discuss one of his old love stories, with 7 Days TV : “Very young, I was in a relationship with a girl whom I left several times“. And the actorEscort Boys to add: “The day I wanted to get her back for good, I had to prove to her for months that I had changed. It was a long struggle to regain his trust“.
