Here come the DIY ideas first.
For one Skull costume á la Dia de los Muertos, all you really need is a bit of white and black make-up. For the kids you can also get more colorful and paint some flowers! There are countless templates for make-up, the simplest version being dark eyes, a dark nose and the typical black mouth. Everything else becomes white! Professionals still buy hair chalk or spray and make their hair green! Plus black leggings and a black shirt. Complete. Advantage: Mom and Dad can easily join in too.
The classic DIY for Halloween: This Ghost costume! A bed sheet or a pillowcase is really enough, maybe you have something that you no longer need. Cut in two eyes, add a little black paint around the holes – done.
For one Zombie or Joker costume A pair of broken jeans or another discarded outfit that can be cut open a bit is enough. Plus wild hair and scary make-up. If you want, put a few plastic spiders in your hair.
Also one Bat or an angel is made quite quickly. Black or white outfits, you can make a halo out of pipe cleaners and a feather boa. Bat ears and wings can be made out of cardboard and then glued to a headband.
And of course, with a little make-up and a set of teeth, you can quickly become one Vampire! Maybe add a piece of black fabric around your neck and you’re done.
Another long-running favorite this year (just like last): Wednesday. A white collar, a black dress, a strict middle parting, braids and dark make-up are enough here. At Zara, for example, there is a Wednesday dress and other costumes.
At all. We know it. Not everyone has the muse to do crafts and be creative in the evenings. Here are our favorite costumes from the online shops.
