She immediately told me about this opportunity. Darren Star, the creator of Emily in Paris, didn’t know me. So I was asked to film myself acting out a scene“, she explained to the magazine.

So far, nothing unusual, but Michèle Laroque readily admits: new technologies are not her thing! “Fortunately my daughter (Oriane Deschamps, 30 years old, editor’s note) was there to help me, as I am very bad with anything video and digital. And I was taken!“, she added, not without a touch of pride. And the star, who plays opposite Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, revealed in passing that she was officially hired on the series”a week before the first day of filming.“
