What has become of Bruno Hourcade since his resounding victory in “Les 12 Coups de Midi”? The former game show champion revealed what he did with the jackpot he won.
Bruno Hourcade is one of the candidates for 12 Midi Shots having marked the show forever. Now aged 34, he had won no less than 251 victories on Jean-Luc Reichmann’s game show a few years ago. An impressive track record which allowed him to win the tidy sum of 1,026,000 euros. But what has he done with this money since his elimination in October 2021?
Bruno (Les 12 Coups de Midi) invested his money in real estate
From now on, the person who was fired following a social plan, before doing the show, no longer works. He only lives on the investments he was able to make thanks to the jackpot he won in The 12 Coups de Midi. It must be said that the former champion of the show has invested in four rental properties which bring him 1,800 euros per month and is also the owner of an apartment located in the city center of Pau, which has become his main residence.
And he acquired most of his furniture during his appearances on the game show! “I won lots of devices: a magnificent burger maker, a machine for making soft drinks, an incredible vacuum cleaner (…) They gave me all the consoles, the TVs, my phone, my tablet, the vinyl player“, he explained in a report for Seven to Eight. As for the nine cars he also won, he sold or gave them away.
Bruno (Les 12 Coups de Midi): “My work was just a way to earn money…”
Anyone who retired before the age of 30 has absolutely no regrets about their former life as an employee. Not “careerist“for a penny, he is now totally fulfilled by his new daily life:”For me, work was really just a way to earn money, and therefore be able to travel, take care of loved ones, etc. But I tell myself that life is short, and between being happy and working, I have clearly made my choice“. And added: “I was getting more bored with my professional life. Because sometimes, at work, there are times when there is not much work, when we do repetitive tasks“.
But then, how does Bruno Hourcade fill his days? “I’m so interested in culture that as long as I have an internet connection, I have access to a library, I can read, I can see movies, I always have a list of things to do“, he assured.
