Hope4Gazahope for Gaza. This is the title of the global campaign launched by Action Against Hunger with the aim of collect and send messages of solidarity and hope to the battered Palestinian population of the Strip, already supported by the organization.
Born from the determination of the local Action Against Hunger team, which has never stopped operating in the field since the beginning of the conflict, the initiative involvestranslation of the messages into Arabic, which will then be printed and included in the thousands of food parcels distributed by Action Against Hunger in the first months of 2025. Each message represents a thread of hope that unites people from all over the world to families in difficulty.
«Hope4Gaza is not just about food aid. It is an opportunity to nourish the spirit and show our closeness to the families of Gaza”, he declares Simone Garronigeneral director of Action Against Hunger.
Anyone can participate in the initiative by sending their message via the official campaign website https://azionecontrolafame.it/hope4gaza/ and sharing the initiative on social media with the hashtag #Hope4Gaza. Every single contribution is precious and fits perfectly with the global mosaic of support actions already active.
“You are not alone, let’s bring your voice to the streets here in Italy! We think of you and in our small way we try to be close to you and ensure that we don’t stop talking about you! A hug!”: these are the words sent by Laura. And Mauro writes: “May my small contribution be of comfort to you and give you the strength not to abandon hope for peace and for the fraternal sharing of what the world has made available to us.”
Action Against Hunger is a humanitarian organization on the front line in 56 countries around the world to save the lives of malnourished children and strengthen families’ resilience with food, water, health and education. Every year it helps 21 million people.
