Antimo Caputo opened the doors of his mill to us to tell us what it means to be a valuable company. Proudly Neapolitan, he loves his land and his culture, and this love is reflected in the projects that combine tradition, innovation and responsibility.
Since 1924 the Mulino has interpreted the culinary heritage of Naples with fidelity and passion, iengaging not only in production, but also in environmental sustainability and responsibility towards the territory, with a careful eye on new technological and scientific discoveries. One of the most vivid symbols of this philosophy is the Caputo Prize – First Edition, 2024, created to celebrate the centenary of the Mill.
The competition, dedicated to the combination of art and food, featured the students and recent graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples. «Young people, with their art, their clean and innovative gaze, represent all this and what Naples really is, a city full of nuances that deserve to be told», explains Caputo. The Award promotes dialogue between art and food, nourishes body and soul, and stimulates collaboration between cultural and corporate institutions, enhancing young talents and their creative contribution.
Not just art. The Mill also supports the restoration of the Treasure of San Gennaro: in 2025, thirty works from the Royal Chapel have undergone conservative interventions thanks to the support of the company, a commitment that demonstrates the attention to the history and cultural heritage of the Neapolitan city.
The attention to those with special needs translates, however, into the Free From line, which offers gluten-free preparations, from this year also for desserts, for those suffering from food intolerances, proving that quality and taste must not be compromised.

This Christmas 2025, Mulino Caputo talks about a business model that is not limited to profit, but returns value to the community, combining innovation, tradition, culture and social commitment.
«Ours is not a family business, but a family company, founded by our grandfather. Ours is business patronage», explains Antimo Caputo, «creating value means giving back to the territory what it has given us, through genuine and healthy products, cultural and social projects and the simple gesture of kneading together. Cooking at home with professional flours means sharing time and passion as a family. Naples is history, culture and love: a city of profound values, like our flours.”
