Several brands of cigarettes have increased their price.
Since the summer of 2025, a new pricing grid for cigarettes has entered into force in France, as announced by the last French customs bulletin. If most packages keep their current price, some brands see their rates slightly adjusted. From now on, the majority of popular cigarette packages, such as Lucky Strike, Rothmans, Vogue, Pall Mall or Winfield, exceed 12 euros. Some are around 13 euros, and the Dunhill brand can even reach 14 euros. This increase in prices is part of an approach to discourage tobacco consumption.

Here are the prices of cigarettes per brand in 2025
In France, a pack of cigarettes is today between 12 and 14 euros, 12.50 euros on average. These are Tobacco manufacturers (Cigaretters) which set the sale prices of their packages taking into account the evolution of Taxes taken by the State (which represent About 80% of the price of the cigarette package). They can pass on the increase in these taxes, which increases the price of the package, or reduce their margins in order to gain market share, which stagnates or lower the sale price. The prices are then jointly approved by the Ministry of Solidarity and Health and the Ministry of Action and Public Accounts.
