No need to break the bank anymore: Estelle Lefébure proves that a good winter overcoat can be acquired at a very affordable price.
Estelle Lefébure has paraded for the biggest names in Haute Couture: Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, Thierry Mugler. Since its beginnings, it has displayed a refined and unadorned elegance, inspired by figures who have shaped all of Hollywood, like Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn.
But if she spent a long time rubbing shoulders with the rhinestones and sequins of runways, door “magnificent clothes from real designers” ; When it comes to dressing in everyday life, Estelle Lefébure often favors simplicity. What she loves above all is timelessness: pieces that stand the test of time without going out of fashion or getting damaged.
“I like that they can be worn later and that it’s not a fleeting fashion. That it’s timeless, more than just the trends of the moment”she confided exclusively to Women’s Journal.
A criterion of choice that we find in our favorite room to face the cold. The 59-year-old model swears by a timeless black bomber jacket that she co-designed with the French label Grain of Malice.
You only have to see it to want to buy it: the jacket displays details that will appeal to fashionistas with a keen eye. First of all, there is its quilted side, trendy as can be, to which are added gold stitching which dots the piece with a festive look.
Result: a stylistic versatility which allows it to be worn day or night, as Estelle explains to us: you can wear it “also good in the evening, very chic and everything, with high heels. But also (during the day) with sneakers and jeans. And in fact, that’s what I like. It’s that you can mix it up and say that it’s not necessarily just for an evening.”
Of course, aesthetics aren’t everything. In the eyes of the muse, this jacket has another advantage: its comfort. “I could sleep in it!”, she admits to us. Because if the bomber jacket keeps you warm and is cozy, it turns out “light” to wear.
And as if that wasn’t enough, its low price will obviously appeal to many women: the bomber costs 54.99 euros. The designer was keen to offer accessible fashion, not “elitist” : “There is not an age code, nor even in terms of scholarship (…) I really wanted it to be for everyone.” Bet successful.
