With these new devices that land on the market, traditional vacuum cleaners and even robots will not make old bones.
In just a few years, the vacuum cleaner market has completely transformed. The traditional sled vacuum cleaners with their extension wire gradually gave way to the more manageable and less bulky broom vacuum cleaners. Then little by little, even these last ultra-practitioners found themselves exceeded with the arrival of robots. Very small, these little technology jewels have completely changed the situation by promising to avoid the household chore and by taking care of the house maintenance automatically every day. A real revolution that goes even further today, so that no one will soon want to buy a simple vacuum cleaner.
The technology of robot vacuum cleaners continues to improve. This year, the Dreame brand has unveiled a very practical model which is capable of passing an effortless staircase. For its part, Roborock also offers a clever robot vacuum cleaner which collects the socks that drag and place them in a dedicated area. That practical features that allow everyone to worry less and less about cleaning the floors in the house. And precisely, the brands are no longer satisfied with the simple vacuum cleaner and coupling their robot with a washing function. Exit therefore the classic vacuum cleaner, almost everyone will soon be equipped with a vacuum cleaner, whether in a broom format or in a robot version. How does it work? Concretely, it combines two actions in one: it sucks the dust and wash the ground in stride. No more back and forth with the bucket and the mop. These devices are equipped with water tanks – one for clean water, another for dirty water, and one or more rotary or vibrant wipes, which rub the floor after the suction.
For broom models, the user passes the device as a classic broom. Some are even able to automatically detect the type of soil and adapt the suction power or water flow. The robots do everything on their own. Is it really effective? Washing vacuum cleaners are for regular maintenance. They collect dust, crumbs, animal hair, and remove light or recent spots. Perfect for keeping a daily floor on a daily basis, especially in active homes with children or animals. The robots are practical, because they often clean and alone, but their power remains lower than that of the broom models.
Of course, these little technology gems are still expensive. It is generally necessary to count between 300 and 1600 euros for the most efficient models, but for many, the saving of time and comfort justifies the investment. And as for any innovation, prices should gradually decrease as these devices are democrating.
