A Milestone Moment in Tech History

NVIDIA has officially made history by becoming the first publicly traded company to surpass a market capitalization of $5 trillion. The chipmaker’s shares rose above $207 per share, pushing its total value to $5.05 trillion.

What’s Driving the Surge?

At the center of this valuation leap is NVIDIA’s dominance in artificial‑intelligence hardware, particularly its graphics processing units (GPUs) that power generative‑AI systems, data centers and autonomous tech. Just this week CEO Jensen Huang announced an estimated $500 billion in AI‑chip orders and revealed plans to build seven supercomputers for the US Department of Energy.
