Receiving a refund even before being debited from the initial payment on your bank account. Here is the miracle made possible by the service provided by Lydia to its users since Wednesday, April 30. “Until now, you could make manual transfers from your Lydia account to your bank account, Recalls the president of the Fintech, Cyril Chiche, in Capital. Today, transfers may be automated to all the bank accounts of European banks labeled in euros. ” Concretely, in its application, the user can now activate this option in two clicks. First by going to the “Knot” tab, then, under the balance of its Lydia wallet, checking the “automatic transfer to your bank”.
This service -which does not concern the prize pools but rather the payments with friends -, beyond the simplicity it provides, also offers an advantage in terms of cash. “The transfer is almost instantaneous and credited to your bank account during the day, that is to say before it is debited”explains Cyril Chiche. If you have set the bill to the restaurant and close you reimbursed you by Lydia in stride, you will therefore receive its share on your account, even before the operation is registered with your debit.

No need to juggle your bank account and your Lydia app. “This novelty responds to our obsession with making payments as simple and fastest as possible”welcomes Cyril Chiche. And for good reason, since its launch in 2013, the app has continued to evolve in this direction. Thus, since last year, it has been able to make a transfer of money without recharging your Lydia account, for example via its Apple Pay account, and therefore without having to link a bank card beforehand. A practicality which allows him today to position himself as the leader in payments between individuals, with more than 50 million transactions per year and 8 million users.
