Politicians have never communicated so much. However, they have rarely been so criticized and unpopular, and no political platform seems, in the National Assembly as in the real country, capable of convincing more than a third of the French on its own, let alone the majority of them. How can we re-enchant the link between politics and communication, and is the existence of popular politicians even conceivable?
Let us already assume, as the only acceptable working hypothesis, that the aim of politics is to act for the good of citizens, and that the French will prefer effective politics to smooth talkers. How can communication help to bring “doing” closer to “saying”, in other words, to ensure that “saying” helps to “do”?
