“From the disfigured to the transfigured. A journey of faith in suffering” (Lk 9:29): this is the title of the XXXIX conference of the Aipas-Italian Association of Pastoral Health Care, which will be held from 7 to 10 October at Domus Pacis, in Piazza Porziuncola, 1, in S. Maria degli Angeli – Assisi.
The conference, which has the patronage of the National Office for Pastoral Health of the CEI, will begin on Monday 7 October, at 4.30 pm, with the opening prayer and introduction of the president of Aipas, Don Isidoro Mercuri Giovinazzo.
Paul Curtaz, pastoral theologian, will give a report in the biblical-theological area “From the disfigured to the transfigured” (Lk 9:29), followed by a debate and vespers in the basilica. In the following days, among reports, testimonies and round tables, Fr. Carmine Arice, Fr. Arnaldo Pangrazzi, Sister Adriana Nardin, Friar Leonardo di Taranto, Friar Marco Fabello, Fr. Angelo Brusco, Rena Mangiapane and family, Don Roberto Vesentini, Gianni Cervellera, Fidelia Cascini, Antonino Giannone, Alfredo Anzani, Francesco Vaia, Don Massimo Angelelli, director of the National Office for Pastoral Health of the CEI.

Last June, Aipas participated, with its president, Don Isidoro Mercuri Giovinazzo, in the first “Festival of the Entire Human”, which took place in Rome.
